WHAT TO EXPECT
Before the Appointment

Book Online: 1-2 complaints can typically be addressed in 15-30 minutes. New clients or those with multiple or complex complaints should book 30-45 minutes. It is recommended for new clients to schedule 1-3 follow up treatments booked 1-3 weeks apart.

Intake Form: Complete the online health form sent to your email before your appointment. Check your junk folder if you do not see it in your Inbox.

Procedures: Familiarize yourself with the procedures outlined in the Reminder email. This includes clinic location, parking, form instructions, and how to come prepared.

Screening Form: Watch for a Screening & Consent form sent to your email 24-hours before each and every appointment. This must be completed beforehand to ensure we are safe to continue with the appointment.

What to Wear: Comfortable, stretchy clothing that allows for movement of the areas being treated.

At the Appointment

Arrival: The Therapist and clinic dog Phyllis will meet you at the door for entry. If the door is locked upon your arrival, there is another treatment is session - please wait.

Assessment: We’ll discuss your health history, current state, and treatment goals.
​

Treatment: You’ll receive hands-on therapy integrating OMT and RAPID techniques, with the possibility of recommended homecare.
​

Experience: Depending on your unique needs, treatment may include a combination of gentle, low-intensity techniques and higher-intensity, movement based techniques.
​

Aftercare: We’ll review what to expect post-treatment and discuss follow-up if needed. It is best to keep active and hydrated after treatment, and avoid additional manual therapies for at least 1-2 weeks.

ARE YOU ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS?

New clients are currently accepted by referral only (must be over 18) - Email to book.

Online booking is currently available up to 4 weeks in advance.

Same-Day Pain Clinics are offered every Thursday, available to new and existing clients via online booking at 9AM; New Clients may create their online account beginning at 8:30AM.
ARE THESE SERVICES COVERED BY HEALTH INSURANCE?
Treatment is covered by most health benefits plans under either Massage Therapy or Manual Osteopathic Therapy.
Some techniques must be billed under one specific category; this can be discussed at the time of your appointment to best tailor your treatment to suit your needs.
* It is the client's responsibility to confirm individual coverage with providers prior to the appointment.
DO YOU DIRECT BILL?
Direct billing is not available at this time.
CLINIC POLICIES & PROCEDURES
The following guidelines must be followed for your appointment:

A mandatory Screening and Consent is will be e-mailed prior to each appointment, and must be completed to the best of your knowledge:

If you present with any cold or flu-like symptoms, or anyone in your household has been isolating, you must reschedule. See cancellation policy below.

Please arrive no earlier than 5 minutes prior to your appointment start time.

Please come to your appointment alone.

Driveway parking is available for clients. Should another vehicle be there, kindly wait until that client has left before parking and entering the clinic.

Please refrain from knocking/ringing the bell. The door will remain locked until 5 minutes prior to scheduled appointments at which point you will be greeted by the Therapist.

Any concerns related to dogs should be reported to the Therapist prior to the appointment.
CANCELLATIONS:

At this time, cancellations sooner than 12 hours before the appointment related to sudden symptom-onset will not be subject to a cancellation fee.

Cancellations less than 24 hours before, and No Shows, will be charged 100% of the appointment fee.
PAYMENT:
-
All payments must be made with credit/debit at the appointment or email money transfer (EMT) to samantha@radicalwellnessyk.com within 24 hours of the treatment. If this is not possible, credit cards on file will be charged manually with an additional $4 processing fee.

Late payments are subject to a late fee of $5/day.
