MANUAL OSTEOPATHIC THERAPY
WHAT IS MANUAL OSTEOPATHIC THERAPY (MOT)?
Manual Osteopathy seeks to reverse disruptions that happen to the body over time, aiding the body to heal from old injuries and dysfunctions while strengthening and protecting against new ones. Optimum health and wellness is achieved by looking at the person and body as the all encompassing, interdependent unit that is it. Restriction or trauma in one area can have profound consequences throughout the body, from pain to impaired cognitive function.
MOT involves individualized assessment to find the root cause of concern, which can then be resolved through integrated treatment of all systems of the body. Treatment therapies include:
-
Osteoarticulations (release of structural restrictions)
-
Muscle Energy Technique
-
Visceral Manipulation
-
Myofascial Remodelling
-
Advanced Lymphatic Drainage
-
Craniosacral Therapy
-
additional trained modalities such as Somatic Therapy and RAPID NFR

Treatment takes place without the use of oils or need to undress, though it is recommended to come prepared with clothing that allows easy view of body structures and access for skin contact. Appointments typically include a mixture of active and passive techniques.

RAPID NEUROFASCIAL RESET
WHAT IS RAPID NEUROFASCIAL RESET?
RAPID NFR allows for rapid and lasting relief of pain and dysfunction. The specifically applied techniques involved in RAPID work with the body to resolve inflammation, initiate repair, and promote blood flow while reducing nervous system sensitivity and retraining safety into movement. By having the client actively move through areas discomfort while the therapist applies precisely directed pressure, overstimulated areas are effectively reset into pain-free function.
The aim is for full resolution of symptoms in just 1 to 6 sessions, with appointments typically scheduled for 15-30 minutes. Treatment requires no use of oils or need to undress, though it is recommended to come in stretchy or loose fitting clothing that allows for full range of movement of the affected area.
